Foundation
2017 – 2019
Gajnath Wadya Pathak was formed in Pune with a simple vision — train youth in traditional dhol, tasha, and pathak discipline for Ganesh festivals.
Our debut performance season brought together young wadaks and established the pathak's reputation for synchronized taal and energetic presentations.
Regular practice sessions, structured training, and new members strengthened the group as a committed cultural family in Kharadi and beyond.
Resilience & return
2020 – 2022
Even when public performances paused, we stayed connected — keeping practice spirit alive and supporting each other through difficult times.
We returned to Ganeshotsav with renewed energy, honoring tradition while welcoming new wadaks into the pathak fold.
Refined formations, improved coordination, and memorable engagements across Pune showcased how far the pathak had come in five years.
Growth & maturity
2023 – 2025
Growing appreciation from organizers and audiences affirmed our role as custodians of Maharashtra's rhythmic heritage.
Focused mentorship for younger wadaks — passing on technique, timing, and the values of seva, discipline, and respect for tradition.
A united team with deep experience, ready systems for registration and attendance, and a proud identity built year after year.
We celebrate ten years of Gajnath Wadya Pathak — grateful to every wadak, family, and supporter who walked this journey with us. The beat continues.
